VosBridge

Play bridge against the computer

With VosBridge you play bridge against the computer in the browser on your iPad, Android tablet or computer: friendly bots are your partner and your opponents, and you can read what every bid means.

There is nothing to install, and you play at your own pace. If you would rather play with people, invite friends or your regular partner to your own table.

How VosBridge works
WhatHow
Who you play withBots as partner and opponents. Or friends and your regular partner; a bot takes any empty seat
ExplanationsTap a bid to read what it means. At a practice table, ‘Tip: what would the bot do?’ shows the bot's choice and its reason
PaceYour own: the bots wait for you
StrengthChoose your opponents: Relaxed, Club or Strong
SystemYou start with Acol, a weak no-trump (12–14) and weak twos, as most British clubs play it. You can change it on your convention card
Every dayEight new boards of the day, the same for everyone. The first is always free
Easy to seeLarge cards, bigger text if you like, four-colour cards, a light or dark screen
DeviceiPad, Android tablet, computer or phone, in the browser. You can put VosBridge on your home screen
ReplayGo through any board trick by trick, and print it if you like
CostOnce open: try it free for 14 days, without payment details. After that £4.50 a month or £45 a year. Pricing

Example: an explanation for every bid

The bot opens 1NT

Your partner's hand (the bot) (13 points)

Your partner is a bot and opens 1NT. You tap the bid and read: ‘1NT: balanced, 12–14 points (I have 13).’ Of course you only see the bot's hand after the board.

You ask for a tip

Your hand (13 points)

Not sure what to bid, you tap ‘Tip: what would the bot do?’. You see 2♣, with the reason: ‘Stayman (2♣): asking for a four-card major; I hold one and 13 points.’ Partner replies 2♥; you do not have four hearts, so you bid 3NT. More about Stayman.
